READING THIS COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE

Ministries of the Living Stones, Inc is a Bible-believing church. We believe in the inerrancy of scripture. We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin; that He came to earth as a man, and died for the sins of mankind.

We believe in the sacraments of:

1. Communion;

2. Water Baptism;

3. Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in today’s usage of the Gifts of the Spirit, that they should function, flow and operate within the confines of the church community. We preach according to Ephesians 4: 11-16 emphasizing the five-fold team ministry.  We endeavor to see it function and operate in our Ministry.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Bible is the mind of Christ and is the inspired, the only infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

We believe that there is one God manifested in three personalities:   Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe the reality of Satan and that his present control over unregenerate man does exist.

We believe Christianity is based upon the following:

1.  The deity and virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ;

"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel...."

Matthew 1:23 KJV

2.  He came to earth as a man, and died for the sins of mankind,

"And the Word was made flesh, and  dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

John 1:14  KJV

"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."

1 Peter 2:24 KJV

3.  Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved, no matter what station in life, the lowest of low, or the highest of high,

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

John 3:16 KJV

4.  In the sacrements of communion, water baptism, and baptism of the Holy Spirit,

"And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, 'Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.'  After the same manner also he took the cup,  when he had supped, saying, 'This cup is the new testament in my blood:  this do you, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.'"

I Corinthians 11:24-25 KJV

"And now why tarriest thou?  arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord."

Acts 22:16 KJV

"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Acts 2:4 KJV

5.  And the Gifts of the Spirit should function, flow, and operate within the confines of the church community;

"And he gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors, and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ."

Ephesians 4:11-13 KJV

6.  Including miracles, signs and wonders.

"God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will."

Hebrews 2:4  KJV
